Scrollback Privacy Policy

Scrollback is an Android app made by Atlas Multiverse. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It covers the Scrollback app only.

What stays on your device

The articles you save, your tags, favourites, reading history and settings are stored on your phone. We do not receive them, and we have no copy of your reading list.

Advertising

Scrollback shows a banner advert supplied by Google AdMob. To do that, AdMob collects information from your device, including an advertising identifier, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Advertising Privacy Notice. Nothing about what you save or read is shared with AdMob. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your advertising consent the first time it runs, and you can change that choice at any time from within the app.

Reporting a formatting problem

If an article comes out wrong, you can report it. Only when you tap Send does the app transmit: the page’s web address, the reason you chose, any note you typed, and the app’s version number. It never sends the article’s text or anything about the rest of your library.

What we do not do

Scrollback has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.

Children

Scrollback is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices and rights

Because your library never leaves your device, deleting the app removes it. You can also export a backup, or delete everything from Settings → Data.

Changes

If Scrollback gains features that change how information is handled, for example optional accounts, cloud sync or a paid version, this policy will be updated before those features ship, and the date at the top will change.
